The effort to dismantle racism is not just a task for hardcore activists and social scientists, nor is it simply the task of people of color. It is the duty of every individual, especially those who benefit from it, to acknowledge the evils and work to reform systemic racism.

American society was created for you.
For those who fit into the cultural default of America - white - certain privileges, considerations, and opportunities are given to you that are not given to others. Although equality and equity are ideals of this nation; they are not realized by all of its citizens. Many would look to the data and agree on this - however, some do not:
